Who we are
TAT is a voluntary, an association, not for profit making and membership based association which started operation in Tanzania since 2015.
TAT aims and committed to serve the interests of transporters, truck owners and the whole transportation industry in Tanzania. It is desirous to work with the Government and its agencies, the private companies, the communities and other stakeholders with similar objectives within and outside Tanzania.

To create the most efficient and reliable transportation sector in the sub-sahara Africa.
Mission
To be a key player in promoting a safe, reliable and efficient road freight industry in the sub-sahara Africa.
Message from
Dear Members and Transport Community at Large!
I am honored to say a word to you in the name of Transporters solidarity towards our daily endeavors.
It is well known Transport business is one of the most challenging affair in the world and mostly in our
growing economy world.

TAT boasts of 450 members as at Dec 2022 and number is growing.
The members are grouped into three categories namely PLATNUM – 10%, GOLD 15% and SILVER - 85% .
The structure indicates of small transporters (SILVER) dominated the alliance ranging from ownership of 1 to 10 trucks and Middle size (GOLD) ownership ranges from 10 to 20 trucks while Platinum members are fewer with 20 and above trucks.
