Objectives of the association are:
- To achieve operational competitiveness for the transporters
- To develop a strong membership base that will be the preferred organization for cargo consignors and consignees and authorities involved in supply chain logistics.
- To carry out activities of advocacy in order to influence the development of policy, regulatory and administrative frameworks that will facilitate competitive logistics for the Tanzania transport sectors.
- To work as a bridge between the Government and its agencies and members of the Association.
- To carry our research activities to provide qualitative and quantitative data in the transportation sector for evidence based advocacy.
- To represent the interest of its members in various local and international platforms.
- To carry out any other activity for furtherance of objectives of the association and its members.
